Nicolas Cage is the new testimonial of Casablanca, the American actor posed together with the models Alton Mason and Anok Yai for the new FW 2022/23 campaign shot by the Parisian photographer Hugo Comte: “We have revisited the Hollywood tradition with our stories, mixing opulence and romanticism to create timeless and out of fashion images, with a universal vocabulary of pop culture” said the photographer.
The Casablanca brand, winner of the prestigious LVMH prize, inspires distinguishable colors and prints from architecture, nature and travel. Creative director Charaf Tajer wanted to find someone who embraced his artistic values, the choice fell on Nicolas Cage, who had recently bought a Casablanca shirt from Maxfield in Los Angeles and loved the identity of the brand.
The inspiration for the new campaign comes from the first paintings of the American artist Eric Fischl. The images were taken in Los Angeles, in the light of the Californian sunlight.
