LIGHTS IN THE ROOM: KARAKTER

LIGHTS IN THE ROOM: KARAKTER

Karakter, a Danish company founded in Copenhagen, present a collection of lamps with a contemporary design, expanding and completing the offer for all rooms of the house.

Real objects of desire such as Aida, the table lamp created by the Italian architect, sculptor and designer Angelo Mangiarotti, which seems to defy gravity with its visual disconnection between the base and the lampshade, with a balanced and elegant silhouette.

The Riscio lamp by Joe Colombo from 1967, with the triangular lampshade on a cylindrical base, is presented in three timeless colors, dark red, white and midnight blue; colors that can easily fit into different environments, from private homes to professional studios.

“Riscio” takes us back to Asia and the Asian culture so loved by Joe Colombo, an eclectic architect who believed in democratic and functional design.

Another style icon is Lari created by Angelo Mangiarotti in 1978. The prophetic Italian architect designed this lamp inspired by architectural forms and materials. Made of mouth-blown glass, its rectangular and oversized shape brings us back to industrial atmospheres.

Finally, the Domo Table Lamp by Joe Colombo from 1965, with a spherical lampshade poised on a thin, sensual and sinuous arm with a captivating allure.
