After the star-studded French brand KENZO Fall Winter 22/23 show in Paris, designer NIGO came out with the third drop KENZO SS22 “Denim Boke Flower”.

The LVMH brand has created a limited edition capsule for Spring / Summer 2022 whose artistic direction has been entrusted to the Japanese designer Nigo. Kenzo is preparing to debut in the world of NFT, the brand has also created a limited edition of one hundred Non-Fungible Tokens that will allow exclusive access to the world of Kenzo.

The first drop was intended to translate Kenzo’s creative and visionary heritage through Nigo’s creative language, which recalls the fluid and simple features of graffiti.

The following drops, in line with the designer’s fluid gender vision, protagonist of the capsules, is the boke, a splendid Japanese flower with bright vermilion petals, which blooms in February.

With white and red as the primary shades of the drop, to symbolize the new beginning of an era page, the capsule collection also features a brand new Kenzo logo designed by Nigo, with rounded profiles.

For the third drop of the season, eight women’s clothing items and seven men’s clothing items will be released; the collection is largely unisex, the cult piece in denim jacket with embroidered Boke.

Denim trousers and knee-length skirts also sport the floral pattern on the pockets, as do the oversized T-shirts and relaxed T-shirts with further details on the pockets.

The capsule is inspired by Kenzo Takada and revolves around the natural elements that have defined the brand’s heritage, conveying that Japanese feelings and sensibility that make Nigo the perfect Creative Director of the brand.

Starting from the shape and inspiration of these elements – nature, flora and fauna – Nigo draws on Japanese sensibility as the embodiment of symbols and feelings. The capsule is in limited edition and is available only in a few and selected retails all over the world including Deliberti.
