On Friday, October 10, Naples hosted an exclusive event that blended fashion, creativity, and community spirit: the Match Day by Deliberti in collaboration with Veja, organized to celebrate the launch of the new “Panenka” sneakers — inspired by the legendary Czech footballer and his iconic chipped penalty kick.

The evening began at the Deliberti boutique on Via dei Mille 24, where guests were welcomed with a dedicated display and a window installation curated by Giotto Calendoli, who — together with the Deliberti Team — also designed the creative concept for the entire event. Among the first to join the Match Day were photographer Raffo MaroneSimone De SenaYasmine Hanni from Vogue UKLuciana Montò, DJ Vincenzo Paccone, and influencers such as Gennaro ManziFederica PolettiFaccia d’AngeloFederica Ciancio, and Michael Bruni.

After an aperitif at the boutique, guests were taken via a dedicated bus transfer to a secret location, where a private dinner awaited in a truly evocative setting — a football pitch overlooking Mount Vesuvius, perfectly in tune with the sneaker’s football-inspired theme. The atmosphere was crafted down to the finest detail, from the lighting and projections to the table setting designed by Giotto Calendoli, who transformed the dinner table into a tribute to the world’s most beloved sport: a 16-meter hand-sewn tablecloth made by Giotto’s mother to recreate the stitching of a football, hand-painted chargers featuring football-inspired illustrations, and a menu designed like a stadium ticket.

Between cocktails by Barrio Botanico and dishes by Raraterra, guests enjoyed an evening under the starry Neapolitan sky, immersed in an ambiance that beautifully merged style, sport, and conviviality. Once again, Deliberti succeeded in connecting fashion, community, and authenticity, creating a unique experience that tells the story of the city through the lens of design and contemporary creativity.
