Christian Louboutin created his first collection of genderless shoes and accessories “Our Angels” is a tribute to glam rock icons!
Just like the angels, the accessories offered in this capsule are genderless, they adapt to the body, they break the mold and rules, they don’t want to be targeted.
“Our Angels is an attitude in its own right. It is for those who reject labels and preconceptions, and embrace being your true authentic self – without compromise”, says the shoes designer, – “I chose this name for the collection, precisely because angels have no sexual identity”
The fluid and inclusive Our Angels collection is inspired by rock icons like David Bowie who brought this fashion choice to the mainstream.
Boots and ankle boots with high heels and platforms, bags whose shape is reminiscent of retro style beauty cases. The mood is total black and very bold, but the color palette also includes yellow and the much loved animalier, precious embroideries applied to a floral theme: an invitation to express yourself, your own personality without shame, as long as you wear the iconic sole red.
