On January 14, during the Milan Men’s Fashion Week, the Marni x Carhartt WIP spring summer 2023 capsule collection was presented, and it’s already sold out.
Ready-to-wear garments and accessories for men and women, the collection reinterprets the workwear style of Carhartt Wip, utility jackets, bucket hats, slip-on sneakers, mixed with colour, prints and the shapes of the Marni brand.
The floral print is the leitmotiv of the capsule on suits, shirts, accessories and underwear; shirts and skirts built with contrasting fabrics such as corduroy and canvas, leather jackets and wool sweaters, in perfect harmony with the Carhartt WIP aesthetic.
A collaboration that confirms Marni’s desire to develop, for its collaborations, more democratic lines and accessible to all.
To wear the garments of the capsule, in the campaign of the first special Marni Jam collection, a multidisciplinary program that will develop on the global scene, the musician Bootsy Collins, former Parliament -Funkadelic, icon of the funk genre, portrayed together with his wife Patti, his nephew Vincent and the artist Babyxsosa in the house in Cincinatti , in a series of images shot by Lengua with styling by Haley Wollens.
