CLOSER LOOK AT FEAR OF GOD FIRST SHOW

At the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Jerry Lorenzo presented the first show of the Fear of God brand, the light of the Hollywood Cross on Route 101, glimpsed in the distance, made it clear that the event was not just a fashion show, but also a gathering of the stylist’s faithful.

Fear of God, a brand that has built a large global fan base, with its neutral line and essentials has become the antechamber of luxury; the designer wanted to celebrate American luxury without neglecting the generational injustices and exploitation that have allowed the rise of America.

A great show where love reigns supreme, where a community of people and friends came together and had fun. A front-row crowd of guests, including Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori, the singer-artist arrived at the show in an all-black ensemble, black hoodie that was superimposed on a bomber jacket and a transparent black mask.

Lorenzo opened the Collection 8 show, with a series of total-black looks, baggy pants, jackets and coats with structured shoulders and wraparound leather belts.

Milk white, caramel, butter yellow and anthracite gray were the other protagonists of the Fear of God color palette, carefully chosen to embellish smooth leather overcoats, shearling bomber jackets and even oversized wool basketball shorts worn over tailored trousers long cut.
